Courageous Leadership for a Courageous Democracy for Youth
We are very grateful to report that a large foundation funded our Courageous Democracy work with the Junior State of America (JSA). The grant will fund a year-long project to apply our evidence-based tools to teach high school students the skills to build a more courageous democracy. JSA is an 84-year-old, non-profit where 10,000 teens learn democracy by practicing democracy. Our Courageous Democracy initiative will teach the students how to have "open-hearted and open-minded conversations" across difference, while working on local civic projects together. See a 30-sec video invitation from Van Jones inviting the kids to participate in the program. Another quick video invitation is from Republican representative, Mimi Walters. Both Jones and Walters are known for their bipartisan efforts. Please contact us for more information about Courageous Democracy.
